To Revolutionize mental health care

To discover motivation in the disconnected and create relief by redefining illness and success

Core values

Excellence bridges the gap between perfection and ability. At Doyen Consulting Group, we believe in what we do so much, that it warrants our persistent commitment to being better, every single day. Excellence, in practice, is the driving force of our day-to-day actions, decisions and investment. Excellence is our commitment to not just rely on our personal and professional experience and expertise, but to build on it – to create and live by new standards for our entire industry. Excellence is our character.

A leader takes responsibility for finding the potential in people and processes, and has the courage to develop that potential. Leadership requires bravery, and a courageous culture. At Doyen Consulting Group, we define leadership as the willingness to have an open heart and mind, to be fearless in owning our parts, to listen with the same passion withwhich we want to be heard, and to set aside our own stories, insecurities, and ego-driven agendas.

We define Alignment as the constant adjustment of actions, thoughts and behaviors for optimal functioning. Valuing alignment means having awareness of our talents, gifts, weaknesses. When we are in alignment we operate from a place of confidence, groundedness and intuition, rather than scarcity and fear. Being in alignment with one other and our larger mission and values is what permits us to operate as a team rather than separate parts.

Grace is the disposition of kindness, courtesy and clemency. Grace is an action value at Doyen Consulting Group that challenges our Advisors to embody self-compassion and compassion for others. There is no such thing as perfectionism, which means that we will to some extent, always miss the mark. Grace is how we respond to imperfection. This value is not just imperative to cultivating a strong and safe environment for risk taking as a team, but also for our families. Embodying an attitude of Grace means that we allow for imperfection. Doyen Consulting Group encourages risk taking and celebrates mistakes. Grace is the act of patience, tolerance and love for one another.

Addiction, mental illness and shame thrive in secrecy. Honesty is the antidote. Honesty is how we name what is happening and make change possible. Honesty means having the courage to say no; having the courage to face the truth; doing the right thing because it’s right; holding one another accountable when words do not match actions and never compromising our integrity or reputation by associating ourselves with people whose standards of integrity we mistrust. At Doyen Consulting Group, we are primed for hard conversations. When we step into a family system that has been affected by addiction, trauma or another mental health issue, we are committed to being honest with you – not because you have done something wrong – but because we believe you are capable and deserving of more.

Communities are not built of friends or groups with similar ideas or interests; they are not even built of people who like and understand one another. Communities are built of people who feel they are a part of something bigger than themselves; a union of individuals operating under a shared understanding and purpose. This cohesive atmosphere is the heart of our culture. When a family engages with Doyen, they experience the shared responsibility we all feel in supporting them to develop the most valuable ways of creating relief.

What Our Families Say About Us

Our daughter was struggling greatly, and our entire family was in crisis. From our first call, Doyen did whatever it took to quickly get the right help for our daughter and for us as a family. They took the time to understand our daughter's unique needs and to build her trust in finding programs that were tailored for her. A multi-stage program has been needed for our daughter and Doyen has been with us every step of the way through this. As a result, our daughter is firmly on the road to recovery, after finally receiving help from the right professionals when many have failed us in the past. – Kim and John

We struggled for 3 1/2 years trying to find a solution for our son who was suffering through an addiction and trauma. Within 48 hours they laid out three treatment plans.  They provided us with professional opinions, education, along with compassion and hope for his recovery. Their partners, relationships with treatment centers, resources and staff, put our son on the path of healing, while continuing to educate us on how to best support him. Their role was essential during each phase of the process and his sobriety would have never happened without them. - Martin, Kathleen and family

Trying to find the appropriate help can take years and cost a lifetime of savings. We were at a loss until connecting with Doyen. The interventionists at Doyen Consulting Group were there to support and counsel our son while also holding the family up through guidance and compassion on our journey to get him help. The Doyen Group does not give up! If plan A doesn’t work, they quickly try something else. Our son is on the road to recovery, and they are to thank for this. - Valerie F.

Over many years, we have dealt with dozens of behavioral health service professionals, both the good and the bad. With that experience, there is no doubt that Doyen is a 5-star service provider. They provide very difficult, highly specialized services with care and insight. The individuals they employed were skilled at making us all feel confident and comfortable even in the most emotionally disturbing time we hope to ever experience. - Joshua D.
